Even if you disagree, say “thank you” for their feedback to keep the relationship respectful.

10. Protect Your Work

This is where referring back to the original brief can help; you can explain your choices were based on the information provided by the client. If you still disagree, you now have more information and can work together to find a solution that you both agree on.
